Wizard Staffs
Crystals are the most import piece in both our staffs. They are cast in resin using single-piece, handmade silicone molds. A single piece may be trickier to create and demold, but it prevents any seams in the final crystal. The molds are cast from either real crystal clusters (such as Kundalini Citrine), or from hand carved clay. We use platinum-cure, low viscosity silicone to preserve every detail of the original crystal. To prevent bubbles in the crystals, we use a degassing chamber with slow-cure, deep pour resin.
Most other custom parts from our staffs use the same process as the crystals; hand-carved clay into silicone mold into resin. The shaft of the staffs are made by hand-sanding eucalyptus wood poles. They are then finished with all natural shellac and wrapped in real-leather strips. The staffs also have an internal core of PVC for added safety and durability.
Jewelry
We wanted to capture the beauty of nature and history in our pendants. They are hand-wrapped with sterling silver or copper wire, which are then steeped in liver of sulfur to attain an aged, antique look. The gemstone cabochons were sourced from various collectors around the world, and the floral cabochons were created by casting local Asheville flowers in resin. River stones were hand-harvested from the North Shore of Lake Superior and carved with runes to create our viking cabochons, which were then coated in resin for extra protection.
Crystal Resin Lamps
The crystals used in our lamps are the exact same as in our staffs. The lamps are also USB powered, using on 3 Watts. They use high lumen LEDs with a long lifespan.
